Christopher Atwell
Chris has been active in the Life Safety / Integrated Security industry for over 16 years. Chris began his career with Seimens Building Technologies (formerly Cerberus Pyrotronics) and worked many Technical positions within Cerberus over a 6 year period.
Most recently, Chris held the Executive Vice President Position within Suntech Systems, Inc. (WFI of Georgia). Chris was with Suntech for over 11 years and was instrumental in the growth and success of the business. When Chris started with Suntech in 1995, the young company had 15 employees with annual revenues of less than $1,000,000 per year. When the company was sold to WFI in 2003, there were over 120 employees and the company enjoyed revenues of over $20,000,000 per year. Suntech was known as the premier systems integrator in the State of Georgia and throughout the Southeast.
During his career, Chris has negotiated contracts with numerous Fortune 500 Companies such as IBM, Coca-Cola, Hewlett Packard, State Farm and more. Additionally, Chris has assisted many Local, State and Federal agencies with the design and implementation of complex Life Safety and Integrated Security Systems. Governmental entities such as The Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, The Georgia Building Authority, the City of Atlanta, the Centers for Disease Control and numerous School Systems throughout metro Atlanta have relied on Chris’ knowledge and expertise in the fast paced and ever changing industry of Integrated Systems.
Chris is an active member in many industry groups such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association), NSCA (National Systems Contractors Association), BOMA (Building Owners and Managers of Atlanta), and ASIS. Additionally, Chris holds a NICET Level III Certification in the field of Fire Alarm Systems and an Unrestricted Low Voltage License for the State of Georgia.
